Regional Police are searching for a robbery suspect after an incident that took place in Sydney yesterday. At about 9:45 yesterday morning, a 45 year-old woman reported that she’d been robbed in the parking lot outside the TD Bank on the Esplanade. The woman wasn’t injured, but she tells police that she was threatened. The culprit made off with a cell phone and an undisclosed amount of money and was seen running north toward Pitt Street. The victim says the suspect did not appear to be armed. The male suspect is described as being 6 feet tall, about 150 pounds and unshaven, with blue eyes and short to medium dirty blond hair. He was wearing a blue/grey plaid jacket at the time of the incident. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
