by Regional Police are investigating two robberies on the Northside yesterday evening.
They say they were called both the Blue Mist Tavern in Bras d’Or and the Sydney Mines Legion at about 6:00, where staff reported a person came in with a weapon.
They say a suspect or suspects demanded money in each case and ran off, and a weapon was found at the Blue Mist when officers arrived.
Police say no one was hurt.
Anyone with information on either case is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
