by Regional Police say one person is dead and three others injured after a multi-vehicle crash on Lingan Road in River Ryan this morning.
They say officers got a call about the crash at about 8:00 and arrived to find three damaged vehicles on the road.
They say a man in his 80’s, who was the only person in the car he was driving, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three people in a second vehicle were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened in the 1600 block of the road and the area was closed to traffic until about 11:00 this morning.
Police say their investigation continues.
