Police Investigating Assault In Glace Bay

Regional Police are investigating what they’re calling a serious assault at a home on Brookland Street in Glace Bay last night.

They say they got the call at about 11:30.

The two people in the home told officers a man came in and assaulted one of them before running out the door.

The 51 year-old man who was assaulted has been flown to Halifax for treatment of head injuries.

A woman in the home was not hurt.

Police say they’re treating the assault as an isolated incident.

Anyone with information on the assault is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
