Police deem Sydney death suspicious

Cape Breton Regional Police are investigating what they’re calling a suspicious death in the south end of Sydney.
Police say officers found the body of a man inside a Terrace Street home on Friday evening.
Neighbours say a senior who lived there had been reported missing in recent days. They say the man was quiet and lived alone.
Police are now working with the provincial Medical Examiner’s Office to determine an exact cause of death. The man’s body has been sent to Halifax for a forensic autopsy.
