Plea Hearing Scheduled For Murder Accused

A North Sydney man facing a charge of second degree murder is now due back in court next month to enter a plea.

40 year-old Stephen Michael Bishop is charged in the death of 60 year-old Robert Thomas Bradley in September.

Regional Police say officers got a call on September 3rd about an assault at a home on Brook Street in North Sydney.

Paramedics treated the man who was assaulted but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bishop was arrested in North Sydney on June 10th.

He’s due back in court on July 13^th for a plea hearing.
