Plea Hearing For Man Charged After Death Of Baby In Glace Bay

A Glace Bay man charged after the death of a four-month old baby in October is due in court today for a second plea hearing.

Jason Wayne Comer is facing counts of Criminal Negligence Causing Death and Failing to Provide the Necessities of Life.

He was charged after Regional Police got a call to a home on Cottage Street in Glace Bay on October 9th where paramedics were treating a baby boy in distress.

The boy was brought to Glace Bay Hospital where he later died.
