Plea Hearing Adjourned For Murder Accused

A plea hearing was adjourned today for a Glace Bay man facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of 42-year-old Christopher Allan Reid from Dominion.

31-year-old Jarrot Bradley Currie is also charged with eight counts of breaching court orders and two counts of uttering threats.

Reid was found on the sidewalk in Dominion at around 8:30 on the morning of January 31, 2021.

He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Currie is now due back in court for a plea hearing on April 26th.
