Plea Hearing Adjourned For Murder Accused

A plea hearing was adjourned today for a Florence man charged in the death of 60 year-old Robert Thomas Bradley from Sydney Mines.

38 year-old John Patrick White is facing a count of second degree murder in the case.

40 year-old Stephen Michael Bishop from North Sydney is also charged with second degree murder in Bradley’s death.

Regional Police say officers got a call on September 3rd of last year about an assault at a home on Brook Street in North Sydney.

They say paramedics treated the man who was assaulted, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

White is now due back in court for a plea hearing on October 21^st.
