The provincial Health Authority says some of its phone lines are being affected by province-wide problems on the Bell network.
It says the problem is affecting both landlines and cell phones.
It also says callers using cell phones to phone landlines can’t connect.
There could be problems phoning from landline to landline, as well.
The Health Authority says anyone phoning hospitals or clinics should try to use a landline where possible.
It also says callers may have to try several times before they’re connected.
It says Bell technical teams are investigating the problem.
