Pfizer Vaccine Approved For Children Between 5 And 11

Health Minister Michelle Thompson says the province is hoping to release information next week on how it’s going to roll out Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for children between the age of five and 11.

Health Canada announced the approval of the vaccine today.

Federal Procurement Minister Filomena Tassi says 2.9 million doses of the vaccine are expected to be in the country by the end of next week.
