by A Dominion woman has created an online petition calling for upgrades to Nova Scotia Power infrastructure in Cape Breton.
The Change.org petition now has 335 signatures with a goal of 500.
Lisa McNeil-Campbell says she decided to make the petition after her mother lost power in a recent outage in the Glace Bay area.
Meanwhile, Nova Scotia Power says it’s aware of the concerns in Glace Bay.
The utility says it’s making plans to meet with local government officials next week to discuss reliability challenges, maintenance work and tree trimming in the area.
