The Health Authority says its contacting people16 and older who’ve been diagnosed with COVID-19 to determine if they’re experiencing any persistent COVID symptoms.
It says evidence shows COVID-19 patients could experience symptoms long after they no longer have the virus.
It says people will be contacted by phone, and asked screening questions in a process it says should take no longer than five minutes.
Nova Scotia Health says the call will come from an unknown number and people are asked to take the call.
