People Advised To Avoid Driving Because Of Storm

RCMP are encouraging people to stay off the roads as Teddy approaches.

They say it’s important to keep the roads clear for emergency vehicles.

They’re asking people not to travel if they don’t have to until after the storm is over and clean-up efforts are done.

If people have to travel, they’re being advised to slow down, allow more time and let someone know where they’re going.

Drivers are also being asked to watch for pooling water and use their emergency lights if they have to stop along the way.

RCMP say people should keep well clear along beaches and shorelines waves and tides can cause dangerous and unpredictable conditions.
