One New Case Of COVID-19, Today

The province is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today.

The case is in the Antigonish and Guysborough Community Health Network and is under investigation.

There are 17 active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia and none of them are in Cape Breton.

One person is hospitalized in intensive care with the virus.

Meanwhile, Premier Iain Rankin and chief medical officer of health Dr. Robert Strang are scheduled to give a COVID-19 update at 1:00 this afternoon.
