One New Case Of COVID-19, Today

The province is reporting one new case of COVID-19, today.

The case is in Central Zone and is related to travel outside Atlantic Canada.

Health officials say the person is self-isolating, as required.

There are now 11 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.

Two people are in hospital with COVID one of them is in intensive care.

Meanwhile, Premier Stephen McNeil and chief medical officer of health Dr. Robert Strang are scheduled to give a COVID-19 update at 3:00 this afternoon.
