People living in the Glace Bay area will soon have a chance to air their concerns about recent prolonged power outages.
Nova Scotia Power says some of its representatives will be at a community meeting at the Miners Forum in Glace Bay a week from today.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 that evening.
The utility says the meeting will be an opportunity to offer apologies to community members for the recent outages and address any questions and concerns.
It says it will also provide an update on the work it’s been doing and what it’s planning over the next several weeks and months.
The scheduling of the meeting comes after some local politicians met with representatives of the company last week.
