NSP Crews Still Working To Restore Christmas Day Outages

The number of customers in the province still without power after the Christmas Day wind storm has jumped again to nearly 85-hundred.

The number had dropped to 74-hundred, earlier this morning.

There are several small, scattered outages in Cape Breton.

The largest affects 355 customers from outside of Marion Bridge to Gabarus Lake.

The estimated restoration time there is 11:30, this morning.

Nova Scotia Power says more than 700 workers, including 450 frontline personnel are working to restore power to those still without it.
