NS Reports Six New COVID Cases

The province is reporting six new cases of COVID-19 since its last update on Friday.  

None of the new cases are in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

Three are in the Central Zone, two are in the Western Zone and one is in the Northern Zone.

With three more recoveries being reported, there’s now a total of 12 known active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

None of those cases are in Cape Breton.

One person in the province is in hospital with the virus and is being treated in intensive care.

Just over 76% of the province’s population has had at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Just under 64% have had both doses.
