The province is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today as it renews its State of Emergency.
The new case is in the Central Zone and is related to travel.
The State of Emergency has been extended to August 22nd.
With three more recoveries being reported today, the province’s total number of known active cases is now 13.
None of those cases are in Cape Breton.
One person in the province is now in hospital with COVID-19, and is being treated in intensive care.
76.6% of people in the province have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
66.2 percent have had two doses.
