The province is reporting four new cases of COVID-19 today, including one in the Eastern Zone.
That case involves a close contact of an earlier reported case.
Two new cases in the Central Zone are also close contacts and the other new case in the Northern Zone is related to travel outside Atlantic Canada.
The latest numbers come as Nova Scotia Public Health warns about potential exposure to COVID-19 at two stores in the Regional Municipality.
It says there was possible exposure at the Superstore in North Sydney on January 2nd between 10:00 and 11:30 in the morning.
Anyone who was at the Superstore at that date and times is asked to get a COVID-19 test, even if they don’t have symptoms.
The same advice applies to people who were at Fabricville on Welton Street in Sydney on January 2nd between 9:00 and 10:15 in the morning.
Meanwhile, Premier Stephen McNeil and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang will be giving another COVID-19 update at 1:00 tomorrow afternoon.
