NS Reports COVID-19 Death, Three More Cases

The province is reporting another COVID-19 death and three new cases of the virus today.

Health officials say a woman over 80 has died in the Central Zone, bringing the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the province to 66.

The three new cases being reported today are all in the Central Zone.

Two of those cases are close contacts of previously reported cases and the other case is related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada.

There are now 17 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

None of those cases are in Cape Breton.

One person in the province is in hospital with COVID-19.
