NS Reporting One COVID-19 Death, 11 Hospitalizations, 595 Cases, Renews State Of Emergency

The province reported another COVID-19 death and 11 more hospitalizations yesterday.

Health officials say a man in his 70s in Central Zone has died.

The province is reporting 99 people are in hospital after being admitted because of COVID-19, including 15 people in intensive care.

It’s also reporting 595 more lab-confirmed cases of the virus.

There are 245 cases in Central Zone, 116 cases in Eastern Zone, 104 cases in Northern Zone and 129 cases in Western Zone.

The Province is renewing the state of emergency – it takes effect at noon tomorrow and extends to Feb. 20th
