NS Reporting Four COVID-19 Deaths, 294 Cases, Announcing Plans To End State Of Emergency

The province has confirmed it’s ending its COVID-19 State of Emergency on March 20th.

It says the measure will be extended one more time on Sunday.

This comes as health officials report four COVID-19 deaths today, along with seven more hospital admissions and three discharges.

Those who died are men ranging in age from their 50’s to their 80’s.

As of earlier this afternoon, there were 45 people in the province in hospital after being admitted because of COVID-19, including 13 people in intensive care.

The province is also reporting 294 new lab-confirmed cases of the virus today.

Of those cases, 117 are in the Central Zone, with 64 in the Eastern Zone, 43 in the Northern Zone and 70 in the Western Zone.
