NS Reporting 72 New COVID Cases

The province is reporting 72 more cases of COVID-19 since the last report on Friday.

One of the new cases is in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

There are 58 new cases in the Central Zone, with eight in the Northern Zone and five in the Western Zone.

The province is also reporting 63 recoveries since Friday.

There’s now a total of 208 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

15 people in the province are in hospital with the virus, including three people in intensive care.

Premier Tim Houston and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang are scheduled to give a COVID-19 update tomorrow morning at 11:00.
