NS Reporting 10 More COVID-19 Deaths

The province says there have been 10 more COVID-19 deaths over a one-week period ending yesterday.

There were 53 new hospital admissions because of COVID-19 and 16 discharges over the same period.

As of yesterday, there were 51 people in the province in hospital being treated for COVID.

Health officials say the latest weekly data shows an increase in hospitalizations and positive lab tests but they say the risk of severe illness is still lowest during the current Omicron wave.
