Nova Scotia’s vaccination drive gets a boost

Nova Scotia’s vaccination campaign will be getting a boost as a shipment of Moderna vaccines are due to arrive.

The province is expecting 250,000 doses of the COVID vaccine over the next few weeks.

As of Friday, Nova Scotia had delivered almost 850,000 doses, enough to give 72.1 per cent of eligible Nova Scotians at least one dose. 

Roughly 15 per cent of the overall population has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
