Nova Scotians head to the polls August 17

And they’re off.

Nova Scotians are headed to the polls next month, for the province’s 41^st general election.

Premier Iain Rankin announced the election this morning, after meeting with Lieutenant-Governor Arthur LeBlanc to dissolve the legislature and call the election.

Election day will be Tuesday, August 17.
