Nova Scotia is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today, in the province’s Western health zone.
The new case is a close contact of a previously-reported case.
Seven Nova Scotians have recovered, bringing the number of known, active cases in the province to 31.
Two people are still in hospital with the respiratory infection, one in intensive care.
One more person has recovered in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, bringing the number of active cases here to 14.
So far, 74 per cent of Nova Scotia’s population has had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine; almost 43 per cent have had both shots.
