Nova Scotia reports eight new COVID cases, one in CBRM

Nova Scotia is reporting eight new cases of COVID-19 today, including one in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.

The new case here is a close contact of a previously reported case.

Six new cases have been found in the province’s central zone, and one in the northern.

One more person has recovered, bringing the number of known, active cases in the province to 32; four of those are in the regional municipality.

There is still one Nova Scotian in intensive care with the illness.

Almost 69 per cent of Nova Scotia’s population has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
