North Sydney Standoff Ends When Man Surrenders To Police

A standoff between a 45 year-old man and Regional Police in North Sydney ended when the man surrendered at around 9:00, last night.

Police say the man had barricaded himself inside a house on Caledonia Street.

Police add they got called to the area after a man threatened a neighbour with a knife before going into his home and refusing to come out.

The man has been taken into custody and police say their investigation continues.
