A North Sydney woman had her court order denied in her bid to keep her home from being demolished.
Sylvia Dolomont applied for the order after a demolition order was placed on the Campbell Street home in January after the CBRM labelled the bungalow a health, safety and fire hazard.
Supreme Court Justice Robin Gogan denied Dolomont’s order today.
Dolomont is a self-confessed hoarder and municipal officials say the house was full of rotting garbage, animal waste and mould.
She’d been given a number of extensions on the demolition order to allow her to clean up the property.
But the municipality says not enough has been done.
