The move comes after locks to the gates were damaged at the water tower and water treatment facility for both schools.
Food services at both facilities are also suspended until testing of the water is complete.
The Marconi Campus was shut down on Wednesday and all day yesterday because of the problem.
Cape Breton Regional Police are investigating the vandalism at the water tower and water treatment facility.
