If you’re looking for a room within dozens of kilometres of the site of tomorrow’s Aerosmith concert in Sydney, you’re probably out of luck.
Concert promoters are expecting 15 to 20-thousand people to gather in Open Hearth Park for Cape Fest which is being headlined by the iconic rockers.
Reservation agents at every major hotel in Sydney say they’re fully booked.
The owner of a Sydney bed and breakfast says all her rooms are full and adds she doesn’t know of a hotel in North Sydney, Glace Bay and the surrounding areas that aren’t full, as well.
Two hotels in Baddeck don’t have vacancies either.
However, there are still some camping spots available at Open Hearth Park, near the concert venue.
About 800 tent sites and 300 sites for recreational vehicles have been created on the former Sydney Steel Plant site.
