No School North of Smokey, Today

The Cape Breton Victoria Regional Centre for Education says classes are cancelled at all schools North of Smokey today.

There are rainfall, wind, storm surge and winter storm warnings in effect for that part of the Island today.

Environment Canada is predicting 10 centimetres of snow for the Highlands today with up to 40 centimetres more tonight.
