No new Nova Scotia COVID cases for third straight day

For the third day in a row, Nova Scotia is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 today.

Fourteen people have recovered province-wide, bringing the number of known, active cases in Nova Scotia to eight.

Five people have recovered in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, bringing the number of active cases here to 4; one person has recovered in the Inverness, Victoria, and Richmond Community Health network, meaning there are no active cases on the rest of the island.

Two Nova Scotians are still in hospital, one in intensive care.

With around 8,000 military personnel serving in the province factored in, over 75 per cent of Nova Scotia’s population have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine; almost 49 per cent have had both.
