No New COVID-19 Cases In NS, State of Emergency Extended

The province is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 for the third day in a row.

There are four active cases of the virus in the province and none of those cases are in a long-term care home.

Meanwhile, the province is extending its State of Emergency.

It says the move is necessary to protect public health and safety and make sure businesses can re-open safely.

The two-week extension takes effect on Sunday.
