There will be no classes at Sydney Academy today after a student there was struck and killed by a school bus, yesterday. However, the school will be open and grief councilors will be available. Regional Police say investigators are looking into the possibility that the student was pushed into the path of the bus while a group them was playing around. The student’s name has not been released but fellow students say he was Grade 12 student Chris Chafe. Police say the accident happened outside the school on Terrace Street at around 2:15 in the afternoon.
