by The Regional Municipality says a section of Charlotte Street in Sydney will be closed starting on Monday as the third phase of upgrades to the street gets underway.
The section between Wentworth and Townsend Streets will be closed to vehicles until August but sidewalks will still be open.
The municipality says Transit Cape Breton routes will not be affected by the work.
The $9 million Charlotte Street redevelopment project is funded in equal parts by the municipality, the province and Ottawa.
