Newfoundland Murder Suspect Took Ferry to North Sydney

Newfoundland Police say a fourth man wanted in a violent abduction and murder is believed to have taken the ferry to North Sydney on Saturday.

Police are also asking anyone who may seen or spoken to 23 year-old Chesley John Lucas to contact them.

They add Lucas, who also goes by CJ or Chesley Clarke, is considered armed and dangerous.

He’s described as five feet seven inches tall with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Lucas was believed to be travelling with 21 year-old Brady Myler who was wanted in relation to weapons offences in an unrelated case.

Myler turned himself in to police in Halifax, yesterday afternoon.

Lucas faces charges of first degree murder, forcible confinement, robbery and arson in relation to a series of events on July 30th

Police say 25 year-old Steven Miller was abducted from his home by armed and masked intruders.

They go on to say Miller’s body was later found with multiple stab wounds in a driveway, a few kilometres from the home.

Newfoundland Police arrested three men in the case, last week.
