New Waterford Man Charged In Vehicle Thefts

RCMP say a New Waterford man has been charged after a series of vehicle thefts in Inverness and Colchester Counties.

30 year-old Eric Gordon Fraser has been charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property Over 5000 dollars, and Mischief Under 5000, as well as Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under 5000 and Breach of Probation.

Police say the thefts happened in Port Hastings, Lake Ainslie, Inverness, and Truro on Friday and Saturday.

They say the case is still being investigated and more charges are possible.
