New Waterford Man Arrested After Driving Complaint

A 24-year-old New Waterford man is due in court today after Regional Police seized and searched a vehicle, yesterday.

 

Police say they stopped a vehicle at around 2:00 yesterday morning after getting a driving complaint.

 

They add they arrested the man at that time and later got a warrant to search his vehicle.

 

They say a quantity Marijuana and Ecstasy was seized.

The man faces a number of charges including impaired driving, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, possession for the purpose of trafficking in marijuana and ecstasy and three breaches of a recognizance.
