New Poll Shows Slight Drop For Liberals, Small Increase For Tories

A new poll shows support for the governing provincial Liberals dropped slightly since May.

The Corporate Research Associates survey puts the Grits at 43 per cent compared with 45 per cent four months ago.

The Progressive Conservatives are up three percentage points to 32 per cent.

Meanwhile, support for the NDP dropped two percentage points to 21 per cent.

The number of undecided voters stands at 34 per cent.

Five percent either support none of the parties or do not plan to vote while four percent refuse to state a preference.

800 people were surveyed by phone for the poll that’s considered accurate to within plus or minus 3.5 percentage points, 95 out of 100 times.
