New COVID Case Reported In NS

The province is reporting another new case of COVID-19 for the first time in five days.

There’s now a total of four confirmed active cases in the province.

Health officials say the latest case is in the Central Zone on the mainland and involves someone who travelled outside of the Atlantic bubble.  

Health Authority labs completed 879 COVID-19 tests yesterday.

To date, the province has had a total of 103,590 negative tests and 1,093 confirmed COVID-19 cases.

65 people have died from the virus.
