New Council Swearing-in

Most of the new Regional Council will be sworn-in on Friday.

Justice Robin Gogan will preside over the swearing-in ceremony that’s due to get underway at Centre 200, starting at noon.

However, the seat for District 2 will remain vacant until an official recount is held on November 10^th.

The municipality says a separate swearing-in ceremony will be held for the winner in District 2 during a scheduled council meeting.
