The next president of Cape Breton University will be announced today.
The Board of Governors says it will make the announcement at around noon after an in-camera session.
The Board says it got 20 applications for the position in November and later interviewed a short list of candidates.
The Board had set the end of this month as a deadline to choose a new president.
The job became open after former CBU President David Wheeler was fired in December of 2016 over his handling of labour negotiations with the faculty.
