NDP Names Sydney-Victoria Candidate

The Federal New Democrats have announced their candidate in the Sydney-Victoria riding in next month’s election.

The party says Jodi McDavid is a local small business owner serving non-profits and universities.

She’ll be acclaimed as the party’s candidate at a meeting at the Cedars Club in Sydney at 7:00 on Thursday night.

McDavid is running against Liberal Jaime Battiste and Conservative Eddie Orrell.

The Green and Peoples’ parties have yet to name their candidates in the riding.
