Natural Resources Minister Hines Taking Medical Leave

The Premier’s Office says Natural Resources Minister Lloyd Hines is taking a brief leave of absence from his ministerial duties to tend to a personal health issue.

Hines says he’s taking the leave on the advice of his doctor to address what he simply describes as a medical matter.

The Cape Breton native goes on to say he’s eager to get back on the job just as soon as he’s able.

Municipal Affairs Minister Zach Churchill will serve as acting Natural Resources Minister while Hines is away.
