Stats Canada says the national inflation rate was 2.2% in November.
That matches the October rate.
The federal agency says inflation last month was driven by price increases for groceries as well as a smaller decline in gas prices.
It says prices for services rose at a slower pace in November compared with October while lower prices for travel tours and traveller accommodation and slower growth for rent prices, also put downward pressure on inflation.
Nova Scotia’s inflation rate last month was 2.4%, down from 2.6% in October.
