Accused In Murder Case Due Back In Court Later This Month

Two people charged in the death of 48-year-old Natacha Leroy from Big Bras d’Or are now due back in court later this month.

25-year-old Carolyn Ann Dermody from Sydney Mines is charged with second-degree murder and indignity to human remains in Leroy’s death.

28-year-old Kevin Forrest from Big Bras d’Or is facing counts of indignity to human remains and being an accessory after the fact to murder in the case.

Leroy’s body was found on November 24th in Big Bras d’Or.

Dermody is now due back in court for a plea hearing on December 19th, while Forrest has a plea hearing scheduled for December 20th.
